Image of exterior of Fairfield Elementary SchoolWelcome to Fairfield Elementary School located in the heart of Amherstview, Ontario.  We are a JK-8 community school with staff and students who love to learn!  We have a growth mindset which means that we learn from the mistakes we make in our learning.

Our motto and rules are simple:  We treat others the way we want to be treated.  We keep our hands to ourselves, our feet on the ground, we are respectful to others and our surroundings.

Students and staff at Fairfield are encouraged to strive for personal achievement in academics, participation in extra curriculars, and embrace wellness and leadership activities, along with involvement in athletics and extra-curriculars.  Our school has an emphasis on healthy and active living, and encourages students to volunteer and contribute to both local and global endeavours.  

Our staff stress co-operation, effective communication and believe that quality education is a shared commitment between home and school. These educational experiences encourage each child to acquire the self-esteem and self-discipline to meet the rigours of the curriculum, and to treat individuals and their belongings with respect and dignity.
